The Queso Connection

This is Delia Jo’s personal benchmark queso and the one she measures almost everything else against. Torchy’s Green Chile Queso is one of the defining bowls of the entire Queso Trail, so every current Southeastern Torchy’s location belongs on the launch map. The point isn’t to pretend each location is a different queso experience. It’s to mark the places where one of the Trail’s foundational quesos can reliably be found. Torchy’s started from an Austin food trailer in 2006, and the brand still describes its Green Chile Queso as one of the staples that made it famous.
