THE HUNGRY HUNGRY TRAILS WAY

A guide,
not a scoreboard.

Hungry Hungry Trails gives you a trailhead.

We build field guides around foods worth following. Each Trail connects restaurants, specific offerings, practical details, and the local stories that turn a list of places into a reason to explore.

MEET DELIA · THE STORYTELLER

Delia Jo

Delia Jo is a food and travel writer, Southern storyteller, cocktail book author, and former editor of Eater Nashville. Based in Athens, Alabama, she covers food, travel, and culture throughout North Alabama, Nashville, Florida, New Orleans, and destinations across the American South.

Her work has appeared in Food & Wine, Yahoo Travel, Modern Luxury, Modern South, TripAdvisor, and other national and regional publications. She was also a weekly featured Nashville dining expert on 95.5 Nash Icon's Marty McFly in the Morning, where she shared restaurant news, recommendations, and insight into Nashville's dining scene.

Known as “The Queen of Queso,” Delia has built a career around uncovering the stories that connect food, place, and people. She is the author of Nashville Cocktails and the creator of the forthcoming children's book series The Queso Chronicles, beginning with its first title, Look Up at the Sun.

At Hungry Hungry Trails, Delia brings the food knowledge, storytelling voice, editorial curiosity, and sense of place that shape where each Trail leads.

MEET RYAN · THE BUILDER

Ryan Richmond

Ryan Richmond brings nearly three decades of restaurant-industry experience to Hungry Hungry Trails. Over a 29-year career, he has worked across quick service, casual dining, and fine dining concepts, giving him a broad perspective on both restaurant operations and the guest experience.

The majority of his career was spent with the Burger King brand, where he progressed through restaurant leadership and operations roles before ultimately serving as a District Manager in Middle Tennessee.

His work combines that restaurant-industry experience with an interest in software, artificial intelligence, and digital product development.

At Hungry Hungry Trails, Ryan leads the technology, strategy, and product design behind the platform—from the traveler tools and maps to the systems that allow each Trail to grow.

THE OVERLAP

Different backgrounds.
A shared love of great food.

Hungry Hungry Trails lives where Delia's editorial instinct meets Ryan's restaurant and product experience.

Together, they connect the stories that make a place worth seeking out with the tools that help you get there. A good meal becomes a reason to take the next turn.

WHAT HUNGRY HUNGRY TRAILS IS

A road atlas for curious appetites.

Trails are curated rather than ranked. There is no single winner and no correct route. Pick a Stop, take the long way, save a discovery to Radar, and collect the places you visit in your Trail Passport.

ROUTE NOTE

Be specific. Respect the places in the guide. Keep useful details clear. Leave room for discovery.

THE COLLISION

This is what happens when four worlds share one glove compartment.

Road atlasroutes · markers · exits+Field notebookstories · labels · proof+Cosmic westernstars · dust · possibility+Disco optimismcolor · sparkle · forward

Not a directory. A reason to go.

MORE TRAILS AHEAD

A growing universe for curious appetites.

The Queso Trail is Trail 1, not the finish line. Hungry Hungry Trails is designed to grow into a broader collection of food journeys, each with its own subject, voice, Stops, field notes, and reasons to get out on the road.

Across those Trails, the philosophy stays the same: be specific, respect the places in the guide, keep useful details clear, and leave room for discovery. The goal is not to complete the internet. It is to make the next outing feel irresistible.
