Privacy Policy

Effective October 24, 2026

Hungry Hungry Trails is built to help people discover food, places, and experiences—not to turn visitors into a product. This policy explains the information we collect when you use the site and how we use it.

What we collect

If you create a Hungry Hungry account, we collect the account information needed to identify and authenticate you, including your email address and any profile information you choose to provide.

We also store the activity needed to provide the traveler features you use. This may include Stops you add to Radar, Trail Passport stamps and check-ins, the participating location associated with a Passport stamp, and other account preferences or progress associated with your use of Hungry Hungry Trails.

To operate and protect the service, our systems may also process information such as your IP address, browser or device information, session information, and request activity. This information may be used for session security, rate limiting, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.

We do not sell your personal information.

Those providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are subject to their own privacy practices.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use Hungry Hungry Trails, including which pages are visited, how visitors move through the site, and general information about browsers, devices, and referral sources.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to provide this measurement. Google processes information about use of the site according to its own privacy practices.

We do not configure Google Analytics User ID or intentionally send your email address, display name, Hungry Hungry account identifiers, authentication tokens, Passport or Radar records, or precise device-location coordinates to Google Analytics.

Cookies and sessions

Essential storage

Hungry Hungry Trails uses essential cookies and related browser storage for authentication, session security, keeping travelers signed in, and application functionality. When you sign in, Trails maintains its own application session so that your Passport, Radar, and other account features remain associated with you. Clearing your cookies or using a different browser or device may require you to sign in again.

Analytics storage

Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies for website measurement. Analytics storage is separate from the essential storage used for authentication and session security.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or Google Analytics advertising features. If we materially change how cookies, advertising, or tracking technologies are used, we will update this policy as appropriate.

Your choices

You can choose whether to create an account and whether to use features such as Radar and Passport stamping. Where the product provides the option, you may remove a Stop from Radar or revoke a Passport stamp that was added by mistake.

For questions about your account or personal information, or for help with an account-related request, contact us at trails@discosolstudios.com.

Restaurant and location information

Passport activity may identify a restaurant or participating location that you indicate you visited. These records are used to provide your Passport experience and related traveler features. Hungry Hungry Trails does not independently verify that a Passport stamp represents a physical visit. Passport stamping is an honor-system feature.

Updates

Hungry Hungry Trails will continue to evolve. We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
