The Queso Connection
Fonda gives you two ways into queso territory: a creamy roasted poblano cheese dip, or the queso FOND-ido with melted Chihuahua cheese, salsa verde and tortillas. The fundido can also be upgraded with chorizo, shrimp or truffle-roasted mushrooms, which makes this one feel less like a quick chip stop and more like a sit-down queso-to-dinner detour in 12 South.
