A familiar Tex-Mex checkpoint in the wider queso orbit. And of course I have a story. Chuy’s has followed me through chapters of my life, from randomly meeting co-founder Mike Young while dining solo in Texas to eating there with Ryan before I sang onstage at the Grand Ole Opry with The Choir Room for Birth of a King in 2024. Add queso, salty chips, Creamy Jalapeño and all that kitschy Tex-Mex joy, and yes, it belongs on my trail.
